Uh oh :-)

I have just found a website where I could get into a whole lotta trouble:

www.craftdesigns4you.com

A coworker of OtherSteve wants me to make her a New Orleans Saints tissue box cover like the one I made for him.  I told her it would take me at least a month, given what I went through trying to find the yarn I needed in enough quantities to finish it.  I think I visited something like half a dozen different Hobby Lobby stores, in several different cities, before I found all the yarn I needed.

I decided to do an online search to see if I could find anywhere that sold the yarn I needed, so I could order the exact quantity all at once.  That's how I found that website.  They had the yarn I needed.  At half the price of what Hobby Lobby wants for it.  And, as sort of a fun aside, they even had plastic canvas purse forms--I haven't seen those in 25 years!  The best part is, the price for all the yarn plus the purse form plus shipping was roughly equivalent to what I would have paid for the yarn alone at Hobby Lobby, and now I don't have to worry about driving hubby/nextdoor neighbor crazy trying to find that damn yarn.

The site does insist on charging full price for their craft books, but the plastic canvas stuff is cheap enough it's probably worth a return trip at some point.
